LindsJ83 56 Posted July 20, 2013 I'm going through this feeling too! I haven't submitted to insurance yet but the closer it gets the more panicky I get. I've never had surgery before but know I need it to be healthy. My little girl is almost 15 months old so I know what you are feeling. I can't offer any advice but I can tell you that you aren't alone.

Helpppppp I have a five year old too and I keep reminding myself she is a big reason why I am doing this. Keep trying to look 3-5-10-20 years out. I can't wait to walk her down the isle. My surgery is Tuesday and I am nervous but I keep thinking about what this will allow me to do. 1 kloveburd reacted to this

I want to be able to walk my son down the aisle too.. And just be able to go to the park and play with him and not be on the bench cause I can't do anything without getting tired. He's very energetic so I'm looking forward to getting my energy back. Just don't want to regret this decision! 1 PittGuy reacted to this

I have a 5 yr old and I don't want to leave him without a mother! Helpppppp[/quote'] I know how you're feeling. I have a two year old little girl. I cried all night, all the way to the hospital, the entire time I waited for surgery...pretty much until they knocked me out! Multiple people asked if I wanted something to calm me down. I was a mess. But deep down in my heart I knew my chances of dying young without the surgery and staying morbidly obese was way higher of a chance than dying from this surgery. Try to remember that youre making the best choice for yourself and your little one. You're going to be great! Just breathe. Keep a positive outlook and believe. You got this! 2 kloveburd and PittGuy reacted to this
