Big Wojo 32 Posted July 20, 2013 I'm having problems getting all my Water and Protein it's day 4 for me after my surgery and only my second night home but I am finding it very hard to take in all my protein and water. I am peeing very little and it's super dark so I'm guessing dehydrated. Any tips??? Thanks.

It took me like 2 weeks before I was able to get the 80grams of protein a day... Hang in there it gets easier the 1st 3 months are rough I'm not going to lie to you
music1618 879 Posted July 20, 2013 Go get kids sippy cups. They are small and help keep track of your liquids. When you finish one you feel like you really accomplished something. Also set a timer for every 5-10 min to remind you to sip. My doc said he was most concerned with Water at this stage. You don't want to get dehydrated. jacqua88 0 Posted July 23, 2013 I'm two years out now but the first week is the hardest. I was so scared I was not going to make it. but it gets easier as you go. my Dr told me to try to get it in throughout the day if I couldn't do it at meal time. it helped. maybe try that way. good luck.
