MissNikki27 54 Posted July 18, 2013 So I went in for surgery on July 16th in the morning at 5:30 AM. I was in the operating room around 7:00 and then I remember waking up around 2:30 in a lot of pain. Nothing to eat or drink on day 1. Then day 2 I had to take an x-ray and they saw alot of swelling so still nothing to eat or drink on day 2. Then on day 3 they allowed me to have an oz of Water every hour. By the time I got to the fourth hour I was so full. My surgeon came in and suggested that I try some Jello and I can tolerate it then they will be able to go home. So it all worked out and I'm home. Can't believe this has actually happened. 1 life_after_gastric_bypass reacted to this
