MaryMitchell 23 Posted July 18, 2013 If resting doesn't help, walk, walk, walk. It'll move it down. Have you tried Papaya Enzyme? You can get it anywhere but it takes 20-30 minutes to help. Good luck.
marymcg62 23 Posted July 18, 2013 Don't force yourself to get sick ,your pouch will hurt more, your best bet is to lie on your back -& try to relax, it will pass. I have a relaxation app on my Kindle Fire called Relax Melodies Premium ,(there are all different kind of apps at various prices this one was $1.99) it really does help. Goods luck & feel better
Crystalynn Alhashim 4 Posted July 18, 2013 Hey guys, well it took over an hour to pass but it did. God it was the most horrible thing I have ever experienced!! I am guessing it was the skim milk I had added in my Soup. I had my 2 wk visit with my Dr today and he says most likely it was the milk or the cheese in soup that caused it. Great news though, I dropped 32 lbs!!! Yayyy me (does happy dance)!!!! I wanna thank everyone for their advice! I ended up walking around the house, then when I couldnt do tht anymore I sat in my living room and prayed I didnt vomit, I also promised myself not to ever eat that again at least til way later on lol
pookybear 284 Posted July 19, 2013 Lying down makes it worse for me. It passes faster if I stand and sway back and forth or walk around. Glad it finally passed for you!
terry1118 1,274 Posted July 19, 2013 Lying down makes it worse for me. It passes faster if I stand and sway back and forth or walk around. Glad it finally passed for you! I was told to never lay down for at least an hour after eating. The only thing that helps me is what pookybear said - walk around. It's a very unpleasant experience that makes me want to be super-careful about what and how I eat.
LeticiaHuggins 177 Posted July 19, 2013 Everyone is right... Walk walk walk! I even walked or should I say paced back and forward in my room. Fyi... I would wait to try that Soup again in a few weeks or months. Sometimes really Water foods are hard to eat or even digest. I personally think its like eating food.and drinking together. ~Leticia **HW: 259**PreOp: 216**SURG: 3/21/13 **Discharged @: 221** 3 mons post op.
