I was having an awesome day when VERY STUPID ME decided oh I didn't weight my self on Monday at the doctors office let me weight my self today WEDNESDAY. I think I'm throwing out all the scales I have. I have a digital scale then I have a regular old fashion scale. Ok results mind you it's WEDNESDAY I'm having iced 711 cafe plus I had Breakfast. There is a huge difference in weight regardless of me eating. My scale at home is digital putting me at 105 pounds at the doctor office is 123 pounds that's 18 pounds difference. Do I feel smaller? Yes I'm wearing a size 00-0-1 and on TOM size 1-2 So I think I'm going to have to go according to the doctor scale of 123lbs because it's normal weight for me. I'm changing the weight once again on rny and fitnesspal. I want to be 115lbs so back again to 1200 calories & exercise.

Yeah it's crazy. The scale at home says 105 doctor office 123 like which one is accurate? So I decided to go with the doctor office scale.

Honestly, I would go with doctors because they are calibrated regularly where home scales never are. 123 is still super tiny and you have an adorable figure so who cares what the number id, right? :)

125 is my goal so it's great seeing someone crush that goal! I am 5'2" and small boned. Currently 204.

I agree. I just had a check up yesterday and weighed myself at home before I went. I was 2lbs less at the drs office. I'm going by theirs. I like that weight better. Lol

In the hospital and they weighed me in the bed. I freaked out! 14 lbs heavier? Then the nurse informed that that was with all blankets, pillows, clothes, etc. I even think my 15 lb purse was on the bed. They then posted my weight on the dry erase board in my room....how very sensitive of them!

Hilarious! I often write the patients weight on the board when they arrive, but in kilograms, nobody knows what it means , written in with vitals, bp, etc. we put it there so we dont lose it until we enter it into the computer. Then i erase it ... No one ever complained because its in kilograms. Guess i will have to remember that! LOL! I dont want my weight up there either even if it is in kilograms...

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
