I'm wondering how everone's doing on potassium. I'm low on mfp everyday, even if I eat 1/2 banana. My potassium bottomed out after an albuteral treatment awhile back...never want that to happen again!

Carrots

Apricot

Lima Beans ( love them)

Clams

White Beans

Sweet potatos ( haven't tried post op yet)

If you can eat greens Swiss chard, spinach

IV potassium does burn! I always slow down the potassium and run extra iv Fluid on the side with it so it doesnt burn - it takes longer but the iv site doesnt burn then. (its really the only way to get it in without burning or adding lidocaine, which isnt done in california)

I have muscle cramps. Mine seems to be low a lot that is why I consciously try and eat Protein rich foods.
