A different way to Post pictures (On any forum)

Recommended Posts

Well im sure all of you are interested in knowing how to get your pictures posted on the Message board. Well this is a very simple process, and with my help, you'll be posting pictures like a mad man or woman :D . Here we go..

Step One: Getting an Image

First and Formost, you need to have an image to put up. Once you have this image, you need to have it hosted.

Step Two:Hosting an Image

You can do this by either 2 ways.. Having your very own web server (which costs money) Or you can do what i do and use one of the very man Free Image hosting services that people provide.. One of these is www.PhotoBucket.com . This is one of the simplest and IMO (In My Opinion) the best Image Host to use. All you need to do is make an account, and go on to the next step, which is...

Step 3:Uploading an Image

This is fast and easy.. All you have to do is know where your file is and thats it.. On the right hand side, you will see an BROWSE button, click on this button to open the File Directory. When you do this, a File Browser window will open, and all you have to do is find the image that you want uploaded onto the server and hit OK. After that all you do is hit UPLOAD IMAGE, and the process is complete.

Step 4:Posting Your Image

All you do is Goto the picture that you uploaded. And go down to the text field that is marked "IMG" this will have the BBCode already attatched to it.. All you do is Copy that text and goto your post on the Forum. Next, you go down to the Text Field and you paste the Text into the box.. Hit Submit.

And there you have it, you've just learned how to post images on a message board like a wiz.

As an added effect, Photobucket also allows you to share your images with Anyone, Anywhere. Instead of having to attatch all of your images to an email. You can upload them to photobucket, and just link the person to the images directly, or give them the URL to your photobucket and they can look at your pictures like that.

Photobucket also has it so you can post your images in HTML. All you have to do is Copy and paste the code. And Bam, you're done. Great for Posting Myspace picture comments or even images on Blogs.

Well thats probably all you want to hear from me.. Happy Image posting :)

ok, when I hit browse, it goes to my computer. I can't get to the image host. I have photos on kodak gallery, snap fish and sony image station. I can't figure out how to retrieve any of them.

I have yet to figure out how to get a photo on here. I need simple instructions.

Everytime I try to post a photo on my space, it says...image to large. I downloaded "inranview?" sp... like they recommended. waste of time. hello....it doesn't come with instructions.

Any time I have managed to get a picture to post, its shear one-hit wonder luck. Never works a second time.

I have resigned myself to stupid-dom.

Sorry for the rant.

You dont actually have to download any kind of imaging Software. You can use http://www.picresize.com/

Its Free, its Simple, and its Fast. All you have to do is goto that site and put in your pictures (By Browsing and uploading) then it will allow you to resize your pictures, and even add some effects to them aswell. Then all you do is Save your Picture from there, because PicResize doesnt host images. Then you just take the resized picture from that, and upload it to your photobucket, and BLAM, you're done. :)

If anyone else has any questions or comments, i'll be more then happy to answer them. :D

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
