Baconville 578 Posted July 12, 2013 I am only a bit over two weeks out from surgery and have a long way to go. I lost 39 lbs prior to surgery and am currently down 55 pounds. My wedding rings are beginning to get too big. I don't want to take them off for over a year and I don't want to have them resized every few months. Anybody find a solution? THANKS!! Crkrjax76 76 Posted July 12, 2013 You can get ring guards that will help for a while!! I wore mine on a necklace when I was pregnant and my fingers swelled.
DLCoggin 1,788 Posted July 12, 2013 Amazon sells "Ring Snuggies" - just a little piece of plastic tubing that's cut on one side. They have a number of different sizes. They take a little getting used to but help to hold your ring on. I used them for months and still wound up having my wedding ring resized - twice. Lol. I've also seen metal bands that I believe most jewelers have. Same principle, a little more expensive, but a little more attractive.

Kellyk2511 282 Posted July 13, 2013 I searched all over the pace for those ring guard things. Finally found them at Claire's in the mall! Super cheap and a quick fix!
TinyMamiOf3kids 1,280 Posted July 13, 2013 I did the ring guard but I ended up resizing it. Now it's resize & I still need a ring guard. It's staying like that. I don't plan on getting smaller.
music1618 879 Posted July 13, 2013 I use the ring guard for my wedding band. It does take getting used to. I set it on the sink at work to wash my hands because the guard will scrape your other hand. Well I completely forgot I had put it there and left the restroom. By the time I realized it was gone and one of my co workers had acquired a new wedding band. So please be careful. If there is justice, whoever took it will get theirs! I will definitely be very careful. My rings don't hold a great monetary value, but I would be crushed if I lost them. music1618 879 Posted July 13, 2013 Mine were not that expensive, but it was my wedding band. I lost them about a month before our ten year anniversary.
