Ran my ass off!

Recommended Posts

I had to share!! I ran last yr and managed to finish 2 of the local 5ks. I never did better than 45min completing. Today I started back running. I managed to make a mile in 10.30 min!! I never beat over 14 min a mile previously. Running is O much easier being lighter. Tomorrow makes 11weeks post op and I am so stinking happy I did this!!!

That's sooooo amazing!!! Way to go.... Keep it up! So happy for you:)

Thank u! I scared my husband when I come panting in the house screaming " this bitch is back" lol he's so calm and quiet and dry lol I'm the lively one of the bunch. In my mind I just pretty much single handedly took on the world :) lol small steps but felt good

Awesome !! I love running as well, I just met my recent goal of a 10 minute mile :) now I am working towards a 9 minute mile. And hell yeah its easier when you don't have all that extra fat :)

Feels great doesn't it? I have so many things I wanna do..like a half marathon. I was so surprised his much easier it was just picking my legs up and moving before it was moving a freight train when I ran. I'm amazed.

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
