Male Bandsters - Is it bigger now?

Recommended Posts

It's almost been two months now since I was banded. Although I have hit a plateau, I am pleased to report that my wife thinks my plonker feels larger. Longer to be precise. I'm not really a tape measure kind of a guy so I can't validate this. However, the sex is much better and I am able to perform longer. I can tell that my wife definitely feels more satisfied too.

This side effect of the operation is well worth the $15K out of pocket expense and two weeks eating broth by itself! One could say that the forty something pounds I have lost has now taken on peripheral importance as I am so focussed on sex again.

PLONKER,

Now I've heard it called everything. I don't know when I've laughed so hard, no pun intended. Well, if this theory is true, even though my hubby is underweight I will still be making him an appt. for lapband.

Congrats on your weightloss and I agree with you, I've lost 50 pounds so far and been banded 6 months and it does help with the sex life.

I was going to use "Knob", but that's an even less well known term for it in the U.S. than "plonker". Anyway, Knob, Plonker, John Thomas or what have you, the point is that losing weight definitely improves one's sex life and helps your partner have the kind of sex she/he deserves.

I'm not a guy but I act like one and I'd do Angelina Jolie, so I'll post. :)

The penis doesn't actually grow longer when you lose weight, although a LOT of men think (hope) it does. What happens is that the rest of the body "retreats" and makes it seem longer, and actually can expose more of the shaft.

As an analogy, imagine pushing a straw down into a pillow. It's going to get a little "buried", and you're only going to see part of it. Now remove part of the pillow's stuffing, and - poof - from the outside it looks like your straw got longer, when in reality it's been the same length the entire time, it's just more exposed now.

Not that I'd ever condone comparing a man to a straw.

LOL I was gonna say something very close to Wheetsin.. It's not the wang that has gotten longer but the fatty pad around it that has gotten smaller.

Same when my son was a baby. He was so chubby and his lil man would "hide" inside that fatty pad if it wasn't first thing in the morning. (your a guy you know what I mean) As he grew up and out grew the chubby baby stage, into the skinny -well skronny for him- his lil man is quite large and the pad is gone!

Guys shouldnt feel ashamed to post stuff like this and hide behind the "guys only" title... even girls know about guys.. as mothers, wives, and sisters... (ew! don't go there -My mother was quite ill with cancer, I was the second mom to my brother and sisters) And we are aways happy to pass on a little gem of advice. We are women thats what we do best! right? *giggle*

I was going to say the same as Wheets, and Sissy.......

Your turtle has come out of his shell, and the shell has gotten smaller!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
