iamworthit 208 Posted July 8, 2013 What does dumping feel like? I just ate 1/2 cup of watermelon and my lower abdomen started hurting really badly. Not near the pouch but like near the colon. I feel awful right now. Nauseated and in pain. Is this dumping?

Either way those are also the symptoms my Dr described. highest weight: 380
date of surgery weight: 376
current weight
Sparklette 381 Posted July 8, 2013 For me Dumping is severe cramps quickly followed by explosive diarrhea.
iamworthit 208 Posted July 8, 2013 I didn't have diarrhea but I did have terrible cramps and felt nauseated. It went away after 45 minutes so it must have been dumping. It felt awful.
life_after_gastric_bypass 214 Posted July 8, 2013 It feels like hell, you can throw-up, get the sweats, cramps, poop (pretty much what was said above) its the worst feeling and it takes time before it goes away.
lessoflittlebit 8 Posted July 12, 2013 I think it's different for everyone. I'm fairly certain I had a case of it today - sweating, major pressure/fullness in the chest, heart racing, and nausea for me. If I hadn't known better, I would have thought I was having a heart attack. And my stomach is STILL growling - I can hear it and feel it.
