Amanda R 56 Posted September 13, 2013 Me? I am thinking to take my pjs, toiletries, comfy clothes or a dress for discharge, my book, laptop, cellphone and charger, notebook with pen, and maybe a robe. How about you? I'm thinking comfy clothes, toiletries, someone said lip balm, cell phone, charger, and can't think what else. I was thinking a robe, but they said they have some if I need one. On my booklet about the hospital, it said I can't use a cellphone in the room...but I'm going to anyways.
stitchergirl88 24 Posted September 13, 2013 I am a nurse and worked in a hospital for five years. There is no reason you cannot have a cell phone. Old analog cell phones use to mess with the tele monitors but cell phones of this decade do not. Most the nurses should let you bc there is no reason you can't. sageandcoyesmommy 28 Posted September 13, 2013 I've always heard cellphones are fine except near the oscillating ventilator HW(9/3/13)- 284, DOS(9/11/13)-
BroJoe 28 Posted September 13, 2013 I used my celly all day when I was in for my stay. Even watched NFL Sunday Ticket on the ipad. It was not a problem at all... Kind nurses even charged my phone for me when it got drained and I couldnt get up and do it myself!
