lightheadedness when standing up

Recommended Posts

Is this normal ? It's only everytime I stand up from sitting or get up. I feel like passing out. I'm on cymbalta but Dr said should have plenty of intestine to absorb it all. Wondering what the cause is. Any ideas?

I get this too especially in the morning. It's from dehydration/lack of Protein. Keep drinking that Water.< /p>

I did that early on but was because ny blood pressure was too low from my hbp medicine. Went off it and was major improvement. Make sure you are well hydrated as well.

It sounds like you are having bouts of Orthostatic hypotension.

It's actually very common.

Go slllllooowww and allow your body time to adjust to blood pressure changes when you move. It should diminish over time

Happens to me constantly. I had somewhat low blood pressure before surgery and now that I'm 125lbs skinnier it's pretty damn low. It's normal don't worry

So what can you do about it? I always have low blood pressure or great they say. Its hard because I just jump up to go pee, so something, etc. That's when it hits hard and I have to wait a few mins holding onto something. Then I'll feel better. I thought it might low blood sugar but some days I've eaten nothing to effect my blood sugar.
