punkin 20 Posted June 23, 2013 Any suggestions? I do not have any button up shirts and I am not going to want to wear a hoodie bc it has been 90 degrees here this week!!! Is it too hard to put on a tshirt?
terry1118 1,274 Posted June 23, 2013 I picked up a cheap cotton sundress. I wore it home and practically lived in it for two weeks. :-) 1 punkin reacted to this
SoccerMomma73 1,867 Posted June 23, 2013 T-shirt and yoga pants, what I wore to the hospital, also wore home. I had no problem putting the shirt on. If you wear a bra make sure it's soft and a bit loose. HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 210 1 punkin reacted to this

I could not stand the thought of a bra out so I went commando. Not good for a 40 DD. Lol. On that note my husband wants a refund for the surgery. This morning I made him take me up to target for a cheap cotton bra. Just something without wires and really soft. Since surgery I can't stand the underwires on my bra. I ended up getting a 38 D instead of ny normal 40 DD. looks like my girls are going to go first. I had a breast reduction when I was 22 and was a 32 full C. Id love to get BA k to that size instead of these huge boobahs!!! 1 punkin reacted to this
alc1071 43 Posted June 23, 2013 Wear something comfortable to the hospital that you can wear home again on the day you leave. I wore elastic waist pants and a loose fitting top. I was fine putting them on after surgery, but like the others said above I didn't even attempt the bra (I had an incision close to where the bra would have been). 1 punkin reacted to this
SoccerMomma73 1,867 Posted June 23, 2013 I didn't wear a bra when I had my band an my saggy boob rubbed the upper incision the whole way home, was irritating as heck so this time (I feel like a surgery pro) I brought a soft one that just sorta holds em up a bit, worked well. 2 Amanda R and punkin reacted to this

ArmyOfMe 82 Posted June 23, 2013 If you go in the Maternity section, most stores have the most comfortable T-shirts and pants (with strechy waist). The less the effort the better pain wise. Oh yeah ... I highly recommend comfy flip-flops. 1 punkin reacted to this

Jacqueline K 93 Posted June 23, 2013 I wore home a loose tank top and stretchy pajama pants. No problem. Actually wore my house shoes since they rolled me out in wheelchair and I was going straight home. SoccerMomma73 1,867 Posted June 24, 2013 Every time Dr. B gets me (this was my third surgery be him :/) he uses 1 tiny incision way up high on the left, I believe its where the camera goes....it's always the smallest yet most annoying of my incisions.....but yes, the boob rubbing it was MISERABLE...but luckily I earned that lesson after the first surgery! My bra doesn't rub the top incision but it probably would if I was bigger than a b cup. Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
