SoccerMomma73 1,867 Posted June 20, 2013 Honestly? I think a heartfelt letter of thanks would mean mor than anything to them. Maybe with something your daughter made for them to go with it? I won't be seeing them anytime soon but we can always visit once a year so they can see how my daughter is growing up.
deaddemmama 474 Posted June 20, 2013 As a teacher, a letter of thanks and flowers will mean more than more than one more coffee mug! Have your daughter make a card. It will be a testament to the growth the teachers have helped her make.

terry1118 1,274 Posted June 20, 2013 As a former teacher's assistant I can say the gifts that I loved the most were the things thoughtfully and painstakingly hand made by the children themselves. I have kept every card, poem, artwork, and crafted gift from the kids I worked with. Those little ones are in their twenties today and I still see a lot of them (most are my son's friends). They get a kick out of seeing their old handiwork and like knowing I cared enough about them to keep these special gifts. These keepsakes are as beloved as my own children's childhood mementos. Who does not love a gift made from the heart of a child?
