OMG in ripping my glue from surgery laughing so hard at this!!!! I was a super gassy person before surgery. And the one reason I married my husband was because after our first date my stomach hurt and he said' date=' "you've got to fart. Just let it out." By date 3 he was pushing my belly making me fart constantly. And he was oh so loving about it. "Good job!! That was better than mine!" Farts are funny. Not as funny as a 7 yr old boy thinks -but still. I am 5 days post op so I'm sure things will change...but right now I'm praying to god to just let my gas pass!!![/quote']

Heck yeah that mans a keeper! I am horrified at the amount of gas that my body produces now and it's a little comforting I'm not alone. Mine husband tells me I need to be a lady about things but he obviously isn't a gentleman about it so..mine is important for my overall well being to get out..also..I have a 9yr old boy that will jut fart at will and fall in the floor laughing. Why should I not be allowed to fart in my own house? Glad u are Doing well after surg.

Lol!!! I didn't have a smell but I would not / could not eat so the passing of the gas was so great for me because I could not poo. Lol

If u had asked me before surg if I would be here talking about gas..ummm no! Now it's just like a huge thing going on. Sometimes I get excited thinking the Constipation is over and I won't have to try meds to make myself go..and it's only gas. Nobody understands this and finally I have y'all here and I can talk about this! Omg it's not smelly now but how does that happen???!

Too funny! I feel the same way. All my girlfriends call me very girly. I am very preppy and proper but all of a sudden am farting like a lumberjack. Who knew? Lol

I now too have smelly gas. Much worse as if something crawled up my butt and died. As soon as I relax in bed at night off I go alot. The probiotic does not help. I saw my doctor last week and he mentioned Devrom at devrom.com so I am ordering it to try it out. It's either that or wear a dryer sheet in my underwear to filter out the smell.
