My weight loss seems to be the same way.

I really need to do 2 things.... walk more and stop stepping on the scale! Of course, exercise was always a problem for me before surgery, I don't know what I thought would change after surgery.

I am only allowing myself to weigh once a week. For the Friday weigh in thread. That's it. It's hard but I don't want to be taunted with the numbers game. I'm really struggling with exercise. It's 100+ degrees so I haven't been walking my babies. I have a treadmill that got buried by my ex during my surgery. Must find another way to work out!

Didn't realize til after I made it and drank it that my Breakfast smoothie had 19g sugar. Thanks, My Fitness Pal. It's been like 45 minutes and I'm not sick, hopefully that means I'll be ok.

I went to Water aerobics this morning! I am so freakin' proud of myself! I have been saying I needed to do it for some time, and just didn't push myself. Thanks goes to my very supportive friend who convinced me to get up and go!

I went back to the YMCA this week. I do 30 mins on elliptical and 30 on treadmill. Not pushing myself too hard but get about 4.5 miles in a day. My hiney hurts... Haha

As soon as my drain hole had closed up enough.... before that I went to the Water park with my kids and just waded below my waist

I was told once all my incisions were completely healed with no scabs I could take a bath or swim. They said about a month out.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
