Anyone else mourning the loss of a few bra sizes? I didn't even think about it before but this is hitting me harder than I would have expected...

heck yeah my breasts are long now which is hard to buy an accurate size bra and my back/side far is soft which spills over in on the sides of my bra so right now I wear 38 g/DDD but prob could go down to 36DD but not a good looking DD cause the volume is in the bottom part of my breasts and not on the chest of u get my drift lol. I could use a lift and a tuck.

My husband says it's an abomination against man that I've gone from DD to a D. It cracks me up when he says that. Lol

I wasn't well endowed to begin with. I am barely a B now, and that's with padding! If I choose to get my arms done, might have the chest done at the same time.

Any one had a kidney stone after surgery? I'm hoping it's just a fluke. Go in to have it blasted on Monday.

I was 42d... wearing a 38c now. They say I should wear a b but with the extra skin I like it a little bigger.

No kidney stones but I have had chronic gout which I've been told is caused from similar reasons to kidney stones... I try and drink 96 ounces every day but it keeps coming back. :(

I see my pcp on monday. Im just wondering if I need more. Maybe all the fat loss, 96 oz isnt enough? I know tjis , gout is the worst and to keep getting it is driving me nuts. I even take 300mg of allupurinol a day to break up the crystals.

You always bring a smile to my face! You will be posing for one of the Men of... Calendars next!

I drink 100 ounces of Water ever day. Some days more. Helps with hunger and pop cravings. Certainly "flushes" the system!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
