lifechange@52 1 Posted July 5, 2013 HI all I am new to this so bear with me. I had my surgery on the 24th June and I am doing well, I am afraid to start eating any foods besides drinking the Protein Shakes in order to get the high amount of Protein needed after surgery. Is there any protein that you can add to Water so that I could get my protein in with my water intake.

Crystal light should count as your water intake though
Kristi 195 Posted July 5, 2013 Well about fed up with this stricture. It has closed off yet again, so they admitted me to the hospital today. Tomorrow they're going to try and put a stent in my esophagus to hold it open. I'm hoping this is the answer. Happy 4th of July everyone! I hope you get to feeling better soon! msraza1982 24 Posted July 5, 2013 How are you feeling today? I was thinking about you' date=' I hope you are better today.[/quote'] Still very nauseated but I'm not allowed any fluids at all. Not getting my EGD until 1pm central time. I'm just hoping it's not too painful if I get the stent

punkin 20 Posted July 6, 2013 Just spent the last two days in the Hospital BC my husband had an accident with a handgun misfiring and shot himself in the leg shattering his tibia... I think I was pushing myself a little harder than I should have been before this happened and now I am trying to take care of me and now him as well. I am so emotional and exhausted right now I have cried and cried. I had all my surgery planned out and this happens and I just don't feel strong enough. Ugh. Sorry to vent. I am just having a huge pity party right here.... I am thankful though that all he has is a hole in his leg and a broken bone. The situation could have been SO SO much worse... And I am thankful and terrified he came home today. I can sleep in my own bed and not that awful hospital pullout...
