Kristenredo 2 Posted July 2, 2013 Had a bad day today.....I'm allowed to eat puréed and I puréed a meatball with alittle sauce. Well, about 5 minutes after I was vomiting for about an hour. I don't know if I ate too fast or didn't chew well enough or if I just can't eat this ever again. My Dr. Said liquids for the next 2 days only! I'm so sick still feel like yuck. Anyone else had this issue? I'm so scared of screwing things up.

I accidentally had 2 oz of regular grape juice last night and was so terrified I was going to have dumping. I was very tired today too. First time since I left the hospital. I have been on just full liquids since Friday afternoon.

Has ANYONE experienced a change after surgery , like you are now allergic to something ??? its all over so its not one place and besides the RNY thing and exercise still do almost everything the same . any input ... ...and keep the laughter to a minimum. Weird maybe, but not crazy!!! Right now you're stomach is inflamed and healing so my guess is that you're just constantly setting off the reflex. Hope that's all it is and it goes away soon!!! For the first 2 months I got a ridiculous runny nose when I ate....it was a pain in the butt!!!! Also check the fat content of the meatball- if it was made from higher fat meat, that would cause it too.
