missdesha 14 Posted June 10, 2013 Has anyone else found it hard to wrap your minds around the weight you have lost? What I mean is...I sometimes forget that I can now wear a smaller size. I still find myself going to the same regular stores that have plus sizes. It hasn't totally kicked in that yes...I can just go grab an outfit from almost any store now. I guess since I have been limited for years on my selection of stores, its hard to deviate sometimes. I have also went down one whole shoe size and is able to wear very high heels comfortably. So slowly but surely I am getting my sexy(er) back. Lol. 3 Strong Motivated Sista, operationsexy and Lyly reacted to this
LeticiaHuggins 177 Posted June 10, 2013 Ms Diva you look amazing. I love the fact that your body appears to be losing in all areas at the same time. My shoe size went down from a 9/9.5 to a 8/8.5 ... I had to purge all my shoes. I'm having a hard time shopping too. I started out in a 3x and now I'm rocking a Med/Lg and 12/14. I've had a ball closet jumping in my 21 and 10 year old girls closet. They got the nerve to get mad... But I buy everything. LOL 1 npalmer28 reacted to this

I have left Old Navy several times with NOTHING because I couldn't wrap my head around purchasing a dress in a size large. I thought to myself that can't actually need a large so it must go back on the rack.

I haven't had my surgery yet but I have found myself venturing into the misses section and just imagining what it would be like to buy even size 12 clothing. Yayyy so excited. TinyMamiOf3kids 1,280 Posted June 10, 2013 You look great! Even though I'm a size small & size 1 in jeans I tend to look at plus size & say wait I'm a small. Sometimes sales ppl say your shopping for someone else.

shyanne 198 Posted June 11, 2013 It helps for me to shop with someone. I always want and tend to grab the larger sizes.... Can't figure out why the look funny lol then get told way to big. I'm a year and a month out and struggle with seeing the new me. I still see the woman squeezing in to size 28. Not the size 16.
