pain while sitting

Just wondering....how long before you can sit upright without feeling tight/pain/nausea? I feel better walking or lying down. If I sit up to long,

bent in the middle, my chest and stomach feels so cramped. I'm supposed to go back to work this Friday.

It took me about 10 days to feel comfortable sitting for extended periods of time.

Yep, I was banded on Feb 5th, this week is the first week I am not misreable. I am sore, but at least no pain. Don't rush back to work like I did. I probably made matters worse. I was not good at listening to my body. Take care, Kim

but take pain med with you--cut it in half or quarters--also be sure to get up from your seat at work OFTEN--if you sit a real long time--as you say--it hurts.

you won't be happy at work right away (i wasn't), but eventually you will feel fine!!

I am finding I hurt sitting also. I was banded just last week, the 17th and went back to work the 24th. I work in an office and sit for 8 hours. Sometimes I have pain, which I assumed was trapped gas, but perhaps it is the sitting.
