This is such an amazing feeling. I am looking forward to actually living. I know it's not going to be easy but thankfully I have my husband and family in my corner rooting me on.

Thanks I kinda nervous but I know I will do well.

You will! And it's not anywhere near as painful as I expected. Try not to worry! :-)

Congrats & good luck! I had my surgery on Tuesday & it was better than I expected! Be sure to stay on top of your pain & take something for the gas. I'll be praying for you :)

Godzchild1982, what type of pain did u experience? & what can u take for it. Im alittle concerned about not being able to take tylenol or nsaids as i have bone on bone arthritis n my knee and lower back arthritis. Not that anything ive ever taken has worked, but ive been told that after rny surgery, cannot take nsaids, etc.

Just soreness & slight pain around the incisions...the major pain was the gas in my chest & back but gas-x knocked that out. I've found that if I walk more, the pain is a lot less. Dont worry, you'll be fine :)

My doc said that Tylenol was fine to take.
