gaflalo 0 Posted June 5, 2013 I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've been stuck at a loss of 50 lbs for 12 days. I go up a pound, then lose it then back again. I not cheating and I'm exercising and getting all my Water and Protein. It's not my time of the month. How long do these stalls last? It's so frustrating! ElleG 394 Posted June 5, 2013 I have been stalled for a while too, then it will break and I stall again. The last thing the doc said to me at my last visit was, "stay off the scale, it will drive you crazy" he's right I try not to stress over it but I weigh every morning for accountability. BBdoodle 483 Posted June 5, 2013 I hear ya !!! My longest stall was 3 months, I changed up my exercise, increased distance and intensity and re-looked at what I was eating. It happens to all of us Please hang in there and follow your plan and it will come off.
monken 135 Posted June 5, 2013 Ok ladies in was feeling sorry for myself because Ive been stalling after 40lbs loss surgery in feb. I go for 1-3 weeks then I see 1or 2 pounds come off. Im Wondering if that's why my surgeon is so strict with no fruits and veggies until 75% weight loss has occured?! All I can say is hang in there the body is a miraculous thing. Good for what you have lost:-)

SoccerMomma73 1,867 Posted June 6, 2013 U and I are twins. Have the same problem. We had our RNy on the same day. I decided after the first month not to let the scale control me....it's gonna happen, it may not happen as quickly as it does for others but if eating 1000 calories a day, eating healthy foods, and being active, it's impossible for me to not lose weight....math doesn't lie! So, I just keep rolling, Celebrate the days the scales go down and laugh off the days that it doesn't . Everyone's journey is different but we'll all get their eventually! kiwiladydee 402 Posted June 6, 2013 I think you should expect to have a few stalls. My longest stall was 2 months while working out and eating under 800 calories. This is when you learn what your digest better! If I eat berries in the morning I did much better. Also not eating after 10 pm no matter what I ate would also just start my stall. Sometimes I just needed a good laxative!! Sent from my iPhone using RNYTalk
