I'm 9 weeks post op and have been eating it for a couple weeks now. I was able to start eating it once I was cleared for regular diet (which for my surgeon was week 7 and beyond). I haven't tried any creamy dressings and have been having Italian and balsamic vinegarette with no problems. I make sure to put cheese and hard boiled egg on top and eat that part first so I get my Protein in.

My story is pretty much identical. 6 or 7 weeks, low fat vinaigrette, lots of egg, cheese, turkey, sunflower seeds, etc, I pretty much eat the top of the salad with a bit of the lettuce/spinach/whatever. No problems!

HW 312, pre-op (RNY) 255, current weight 213.2

My surgeon allowed regular food including raw veggies at six weeks. He just stated to only try one to two new foods a day so that I would know what foods I didn't tolerate. I would check with your surgeon for the specifics though because every program is different as far as advancing foods and what and when they allow things.
