Pop. I haven't had a can, or my "own", but if my husband or kids have one, I take a sip here and there.

I'm guilty of that also. My boyfriend had a diet dr. Pepper and he left half can left. I flattened it out and sipped on it.

I ate a hot dog on Memorial Day... So not worth it.. I looked up the calories etc after and it was 19 gms of fat .. Ugh!! Really made me think that we need to be planful in our eating. i love cooking and entertaining so I need to make sure there is always appropriate food for me to eat... Just because I eat small quantities doesn't mean I should make poor choices.

and we have a conagra plant here in town so we have a conagra store. So I get them super cheap. 1.75 for a 3 pack and 6.50 for a 12 pack. I mean...come on. It's like 0.55 per one. Little evil carb filled things! But I don't seem to have problems with sugar or milk. Just fat. so.

Lucky you! I paid $3 for three and that was a sale price!

Babs... You are soo right!!! We all need to make the best choices when it comes to food and drinks! Especially since we eat so little, we need to make every bite the healthiest we can to try to get the best nutrients out of our food!

I too bought Healthy Choice Yogurt and ate 2 of them (there are 3) in the container. Tasted so good and then I felt bad that I did it. I just needed a little something that turned into 2 little somethings. Never again.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
