Shannalee 65 Posted May 31, 2013 I am 4 weeks out & seem to be gaining weight. I'm still 50 pds down but can't seem to get past 375. I know it's frustrating but we'll get through it & lose what we want to. Hang in there.
pebulz 135 Posted May 31, 2013 Thank u all its just a very frustrating feeling to think of how much more o need to lose ...i know 37lbs is alot but compared to the 146lbs to go its such a small number....i have only lost like 3-4lbs since last week i just want it to melt off like everyone keeps saying it will lol
pebulz 135 Posted May 31, 2013 I had someone today tell me " oh just wait till your 90 days post op your honna look so diff" her mom had rny 15 yrs ago and her brother had it 1 yr ago and said it just starts melting away lol i WISH "!!"
FLUFFYMOM 19 Posted May 31, 2013 Have faith and persevere. Losing 3-4 lbs a weeks IS A LOT. If you were just dieting without surgery you would only lose about 1 lb a week. And remember 1 lb a weeks equals 52 lbs a year. So 3 lbs a week is 156 lbs. Melt off is a relative term. And you are going to have stalls in weight loss, because you body goes into a panic over the rapid weight loss and tries to hold onto it stores as long as possible. Just be strong and stick to the plan. The weight will come off. 1 Kathy Andrews-Almond reacted to this

krisg 6 Posted May 31, 2013 Yep I'm just now slowing down on the weight loss. They said it would happen. Remember at some point you will slow down too. Eat a tsp of peanut butter/almond butter when it happens, for some reason it help get it back on track. Also DO NOT eat what you are not suppose to and you will loose it. kristy3k 1,133 Posted May 31, 2013 ok... I have been at this whole process for 15 months. No way I thought I would be where I am today. Started out at 340... now struggling to maintain 154. Dont want to be any smaller... dont want to look sickly. I was textbook case. No real issues except the mourning of food... I have followed the plan to a T. Not to say I didnt try no no things to see if my new pouch could handle it... 9 times out of 10 it couldn't... but work this new tool that you have and you will be successful. 1 slowtogo reacted to this
