deaddemmama 474 Posted May 29, 2013 I have asl sleep maintainance disorder and have been sleeping about three hours a night. Trazadone has always worked pretty well but since surgery they are not being absorbed correctly. ( I have to take six of then! ). Any ideas about other meds that work well? Ambien makes me do things I don't remember but there's got to be something that will work Of course Ill follow drs orders but I need suggestions.
BBdoodle 483 Posted May 30, 2013 I take 2 melatoin (10mg) each at 8 pm and then I take another 2 at 11 pm and at that point I can sleep until about 3 or 4 am. and I'm ok with that. I also sleep like a baby at night if I do yoga when I get home from work, its the most relaxing thing for me so I try to do yoga daily.

deaddemmama 474 Posted July 12, 2013 Struggling too! Ugh! Especially the last two nights. Feels like I didn't sleep at all' date=' just looked at the clock every hour.[/quote'] So sorry. I've had a sleep disorder for thirty years, and have taken trazadone with pretty good results. Since surgery, though, it not absorbed as well, so I'm up around one every night. Four hours a night just doesn't cut it. I keep going to bed earlier and earlier; I even missed the fireworks on the fourth of July. Oh well, I'm pretty used to it, and exercise helps. Hope everyone has a restful night tonight!
