I put up a topic of Unjury Protein Powder.

I got my Unjury yesterday and i just made the vanilla one. I love it!!! its really smooth and doesn't have a strong taste that will gag you. I am going to stick with this now.

Dee I posted to the topic of Unjury Protein Powder. I haven't used anything different. Just bought some from nectar but haven't tried them. Only because I wanted to check on different flavors. Really think this is the best Protein out there, if it weren't I would be hanging my head over the bathroom stool. Not joking on that either. Stomach or the taste buds have their own idea of what they like. Think you will really enjoy the other flavors. And the chicken flavor is very good. I lived on that when I always got a fill with my band as you stay on liquids for 24 hrs then start graduating up. Also Unjury has recipes.

This is reassuring! From other posts I'm expecting a life of nausea' date=' vomiting, misery, complications, and overall torment. My surgery is June 3rd.[/quote']

Lmbo life time. I'm 1 year today vomiting happens but it's rare. I would have to force my self to take one more bite knowing I'm full or eat something oops didn't know it had to much fat or was fried.

Nausea is together with vomiting.

Misery- I'm very happen with this

Complication: haven't had any

Torment- don't have that lmbo

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
