lainafoust 10 Posted May 24, 2013 Well I know surgery messes with everything but I find my bowel movements very off. I had surgery a month ago and I almost never have bowel movements. I've only have had maybe about 4 or 5 since surgery. Nurseallen30 4 Posted July 27, 2018 I had the RNY on the 18th and I've only had one piece of a bm. I had tried milk of mag but it's so nasty I couldn't keep it down. The Dr. told me to take stool softeners and mineral oil also a fleet enema and still only a little came out. wjgo 272 Posted July 28, 2018 Make sure you are getting right amount of Fiber with the amount of food you are eating...To make up for Fiber I don't get in food, my favorite way is Gummy fiber tablets.
