mgarrett1311 8 Posted May 17, 2013 Hello all, I am Melissa and I had gastric RNY on 04-08-13. My starting and highest weight was 265 and on surgery date I was 253 and today I'm 225! I have been eating ok so far all soft foods like sugar free pudding and cheeses and chili and other stuff like that but I haven't loss any weight in 2 weeks!! I'm feeling very defeated and frustrated! I'm not sure if this is normal! Does anyone have any ideas or info to share? Thanks so much for listening!!! I lost 20 pounds in the first 13 days then stalled for 2-3 weeks!! You will hit stalls a lot then lose a few pounds and stall again. Very normal. My surgery was nov 27 2012 and I am down 71 pounds. It gets very frustrating especially the first few months. The last 2 months have been better for me mentally because I know the routine now. Stall lose stall lose. Lol.
