terry1118 1,274 Posted May 15, 2013 I came into this world at 8lbs 5oz and have been obese ever since. I have no idea what "small " feels like. I don't remember what it was like to sit with my legs crossed. But I'm determined to find out! 8.5 is small. My son was 10.8! :-) I'm sure you'll reach a size you'll be pleased with. I want to do something REALLY special when I reach my goal. I have never been high maintenance. We never had a real honeymoon, special anniversary trip, real vacation, or cruise. I have till next year 3 months before surgery to gain weight if not surgeon will not operate on me. Being slim is cute if your looking at my bones that's not cute. kailie 238 Posted May 21, 2013 Yes. I've seen a lot of before and after pictures and for some people there excess skin makes it look like they didn't lose very much weight. Also would you rather lose 100 pounds and have 20 extra that you need surgery to take care of.. Everyone is different. Last month I was convinced that I need the surgery I my stomach area and well my body still had some surprise and it still loosing inches. Her I the gym a soon as you can and take up a sport.
