reason2live 11 Posted May 11, 2013 Why is it that I feel hungry later in the evening and runs through the night. I eat ice in place of Water because water makes me nauseated. I don't know what's going on. Maybe I'm not eating enough scared of dumping because I'm a fast eater no matter how I try to slow down. I'm trying though. Can someone help. lrnettles 18 Posted May 11, 2013 I too am a fast eater. I make sure to measure all my food and I use a smartphone app called eat slower or slow mow. These apps beep at a set interval to tell you when to take a bite
TxDumplin 69 Posted May 11, 2013 I just logged in to ask this same question! I'll be three weeks out Monday and I'm starting to really feel the hunger pains. My pouch growls and gurgles and i get a slight pain up high between the girls. I'm also a fast eater! What's going on...I thought we were not supposed to feel hunger until much later? kristy3k 1,133 Posted May 11, 2013 I know it takes awhile for the pouch to heal after surgery. Your nerve endings need time to start working again. You should feel that full feeling soon. Some of it may be head hunger. Make sure that what you are eating is very high Protein dense foods.
maria pepe 29 Posted May 11, 2013 Protein. Protein. Protein. Over a year out. I have learned at night to sooth the feeling of hunger is to have some protein. Greek yogurt. shake. I hate to eat Breakfast so I still start the day with a Protein Shake. Keeps the hunger under control during the day.
