I pay the monthly premium, and the $2000 out of pocket max and they covered everything else. Check into something like that and see if you can get an individual insurance plan. dance4evr4u 0 Posted May 12, 2013 Hey. Thank you for the advice. I will look into that. I live in Oklahoma. What state do you live in? How much is the monthly premium fee?
TinyMamiOf3kids 1,280 Posted May 12, 2013 Welcome to the group just ask away & someone will always reply. It sucks not to have insurance but do try to find something as mention above so you pay monthly.
w106fox 62 Posted May 14, 2013 Hey. Thank you for the advice. I will look into that. I live in Oklahoma. What state do you live in? How much is the monthly premium fee? I live in North Carolina - my monthly premium is $1200 - but I'm only keeping them for a couple of months, then I will pick up my insurance from work again. Total I'll end up paying about $6000 out of pocket but so much better than the $60,000 + it was going to cost me out of pocket. The concern about being a "self pay" is if anything goes wrong- for instance they had to keep me an extra night in the hospital - all the things like that add up.
