Doctor in Boston, MA

Hi everyone

I'm looking for a doctor for my Operation Manager's friend. Her friend is thinking of having this done and I want to be able to give her a couple of doctors.

I had the band done 1/22/07. so far before and after surgery I lost 30lbs and I'm starting to feel good about myself. I have around another 70lbs to go but I try not to look at that. What's nice is that I'm able to talk about my experience to other people who are thinking about having it done and also what a blessing it is once you've had it done.

I had my surgery with the Center for Weight Management at Lowell General Hospital in Lowell Mass.

Dr. Ashley Vernon at Brigham and Women's hospital. She is really great!

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) has a great program, and is the only one in MA to have some special accrediation. (Forgive me, I can't remember what it is.) I had my surgery with Dr Daniel Jones and there is also Dr Schneider. It's a great program and I would highly recommend them.

Dr. Vernon at Brigham & Women's Hospital did my surgery as well. She's great, but has a very busy practice!!
