Congrats to you on your band date! I was banded 19 days ago and am doing great. I think you made a great decision to be banded. Best of luck to you! Gigi

Thank you all. Can't wait - I have a decision to make though. I have said I would like the new telemetric band [no port, no needles, no fills. Adjustments all done by computer - and what's more they are working on something right now so that in the future any adjustments may be able to be made over the telephone] A thousand pounds more though - but the benefits are worth the money I think. The surgeon didn't try to push this one at all - in fact he said to go home and think hard about it as it has only been in use for a year so they don't have any long term statistics about it. Although the people who have had it in the past year are all doing really well on it and great if you don't like needles. Also the adjustments can be made to such a precise measurement.

What would you all do????
