WOW101 54 Posted May 9, 2013 I found a drink that I really like... Oh Yeah. It stated that it was lactose free, which I was excited about since I am lactose intolerant. Well I beg to differ. Back to taste testing again. I guess only premade Muscle Milk agrees with my stomach.
Mel3620 299 Posted May 9, 2013 I hear that our taste may change drastically after surgery, so maybe try some again after you get your new pouch.
1HauteDiva 26 Posted May 9, 2013 Yes your tastes will more than likely change after surgery so even if you absolutely love something right now, post op you may hate it. Good luck on your search. Check around online. You can get samples of most of the Protein Shakes so you can buy some and mix them yourself (some syntax flavored taste good in crystal light). BBdoodle 483 Posted May 9, 2013 My taste changed big time!!! I was a big meat eater, steak, pork, bacon, chicken. After surgery I cannot tolerate any of it and I don't even crave it, I can eat fish but for the rest of the mentioned meats I pass !!!
BMW56 2 Posted May 9, 2013 Dittos for taste changes, I even think Diet Coke and Pepsi smells like lighter Fluid now! Smell AND taste changed for me. Can't digest even a little chicken breast or soft pot roast...nausea follows. I guess everyone is different.
