i just had my 1st fill last week..how long do you wait until you can eat solids again?

I wait the remainder of the when I have the fill, then begin solids the next day. Unless I don't have my fill until later in the day - then I'll do liquid/mushies the next day and start solids on day 2.

My nurse practitioner (who does my fills under fluoro) says "anything you can get through a straw for 24 hours, then just be careful." Usually goes pretty well.

Follow the advice of your MD. For me, the rules are fluids for the day of the fill, soft on the following day, and back to a normal diet after that.

Ditto. I do liquids/full liquids the rest of the day, soft foods the next, and then resume solids.
