My surgery is on the 15th of may,(9) would it be okay to do a colon cleanse?

Most doctors give you something to clean your bowels out the night before.

Most docs will give you a bowel cleanser for the day before surgery. If not, I would strongly suggest doing one anyway because anesthesia has a tendency to slow your bowels down and it works much better if you start your life after surgery all 'cleaned out'! Good luck!

Thanks I cheated on my liquid diet and I have 9 days til surgery so I figured I'd just do a cleanse.
