WOW101 54 Posted May 6, 2013 I'm not suppose to start my liquid diet until the 21st. I decided to start yesterday with just two shakes and then a sensible dinner. Then on the 21st, just shakes ALL DAY!! I must say that they fill me up and I have plenty of energy. This is only the second day though!!
mommashari 55 Posted May 10, 2013 Day 5 of my diet. Things are well and I bring my lunch everyday. Today at work they are suppling pizza for everyone. None for me!!!! But I do admit, it smells good.
Ms_Kb718 22 Posted May 15, 2013 My surgery is June 21st and my pre-op diet starts May 23rd. Four weeks seemed like a long time until my surgeon said "If you can't stick to the 4-week plan when you know you are having surgery, then why should I believe that you are ready for the life-long commitment that comes with RNY?" My diet is 3-4 Protein shakes and 1 lean Protein meal for dinner. I can also have sugar-free beverages and Jello. My doctor said that his pre-op diet is as much about helping with post-op "head hunger" as it is about shrinking the liver.
