narnina 1 Posted May 3, 2013 I have my surgery scheduled for July 15! I'm very excited and relieved to be moving along to this next step. I have KAISER insurance and there were a lot of hoops to jump through to get where I am. I wish my surgery could have been scheduled for sooner but I've gotta take what I can get. So 72 days! That's a long time. Any ideas of things I can do to make the time go quicker? I'm thinking a new exercise routine (swimming?) and new recipes. Any ideas! Sparklette 381 Posted May 3, 2013 That time will go by in a breeze, I promise! Taking up swimming is a great idea! When I was waiting the last couple months before my surgery, I spent more time on here, getting info and what not. And took it day by day. It'll be here before you know it. 1 narnina reacted to this
narnina 1 Posted May 4, 2013 Thanks for the positive support! I hope it goes quickly! In some ways the last seven months have gone fast and other ways unbearably slow. I'm thinking of coming up with some goals for the next few months to help keep me on track and focused on the finish line. Is there anything you wished you'd done before surgery? Any supplies you'd wished you'd purchased? Looking for some goal inspiration ????
