SemperFiWife 19 Posted May 2, 2013 I for the past few days get these waves of faint, lightheaded.. Dizziness. It's driving me insane, because I just don't feel right. All vitals are normal, blood pressure is around 99/61, blood sugars range between 82-104, heart rate ranges 77-89... Called my nurse they said possible dehydration.. I've uped fluids and been drinking Vitamin Water zero, propel zero and adding smart water. I can tell this isn't dehydration.. Any ideas? Anyone had this happen? SemperFiWife 19 Posted May 2, 2013 4 weeks today no blood yet
heather200202 73 Posted May 2, 2013 I would call the doctor if it continues. Have them do blood test for your Vitamins. You can still be low on something even if you're taking them every day like you are suppose to. HW: 331 SW: 11/26/12 319lbs CW: 229 04/23/13 GW:

heather200202 73 Posted May 2, 2013 If they won't help then call your family doctor. I've had to do that before. Explain to them what's going on. If all else fails go to the ER....they have to do something there. HW: 331 SW: 11/26/12 319lbs CW: 229 04/23/13 GW:

elli'smommy 160 Posted May 8, 2013 We talked about this in support group last night. We was told that the body is losing weight so fast, hormones and chemicals are all over the place, and that changes the way blood/fluids reach the brain causing dizziness. They assures us it's normal. However, if you're fainting or so dizzy you fall to the ground; that could be something else worth looking into. Hope this helps. oldoneyoungagain 200 Posted May 8, 2013 8 weeks post op and been getting dizzy a lot since a few weeks post op. it's mostly when I stand up. Idk what it's from but I have a dr. Appt. on Mon. Make sure they take your blood pressure lying down and then stand up and take it. Your blood pressure might be dropping pretty low when you stand which will cause dizzy spells. Just an FYI
