Texasmike 25 Posted June 13, 2013 Finally discharged from the hospital and home. Man it feels good to sit on my own couch. The staff at the hospital was super no complaints and everything went really well. Sipped my first liquid loretab, not too bad. Wishing everything goes as well for everyone else. 1 Kristi reacted to this
futuremrsparker 288 Posted June 13, 2013 That's wonderful' date=' did she say why you didn't have to do liquids first? Im just curious[/quote'] She said I have done well enough with Clear Liquids that she feels I am fine to go right to soft foods. I haven't had any nausea or vomiting so just stomach seems to be tolerating things well. So, of course, I grabbed a Decaf iced coffee with cream on my way home from my appt and I've been so nauseated ever since! Ugh!

Hun they should of told you this in the hospital I have to Inject myself as well do NOT inject your stomach it's suppose to be your thighs if you feel I may be wrong you can call the nurse yourself but trust me they made it very clear to me ... good luck

Going from clears to Protein Shakes, yogurt, and Soup. I'm fine with the soup but the other two went straight through. I'm sure it will get interesting soon.
