I was watching the food network last night with my eyes glazed over. Lol If I can make it thru the next six days that will be 30 days on liquids. I cam do anything! While on liquid diet did you experience muscle spasms?

Sara Beth 102 Posted June 6, 2013 I am one week away from surgery and I'm starting to get nervous. Right now I'm on my pre op diet and I'm starving :-(. Hoping tomorrow is better! I understand the nerves. I am 5 days away and my nerves hit at about 10 data. I've wanted this for so long. I can't even pinpoint what I'm nervous about. kristlynngirl 184 Posted June 6, 2013 Almost 1am here. Have to be at the hospital at 7am. I have no idea how anyone expects me to get any sleep!!!
Cami1908 30 Posted June 6, 2013 I'm now about 15 hours post op and doing well. I've been up and walked twice. First time just to nurses station (about 12 feet) then second time all the way to end of hall. I felt like I was going to vomit when I got to each "goal" point which is how I gaged when to stop and head back. Luckily no vomiting. Tomorrow I get to drink!!! Yay bc my throat feels like the Sahara. LOL. I give all the honor and glory to God for my success today through surgery, starting recovery and having EXCELLENT doctors and nurses placed in my path!! Jeepchick42 193 Posted June 6, 2013 Congrats on joining the loser bench!!! I start drinking in like a half hour. Ugh I can't wait. My mouth feels like I'm sucking on a cotton ball. And I'm so hoarse from the intubation. Yuck!!
