Thanks for the good wishes. I go in tomorrow. My Mom is a cancer patient with incurable disease and is worried sick' date=' I just spent 40 minutes on the phone with her reassuring her that i'll be ok. She's insistent on 'being the Mom' for me but she is so ill she needs to be in the hospital herself. Also, my cousin goes in for a c-section tomorrow. My surgery date is June 26!!!!! I'm scared!! But confident and I can't wait to begin the recovery journey. I've lost 20 lb since January...hopefully that helped the proverbial 'fatty liver' syndrome.

WBW, u didn't have to do a pre-op diet either? My doctor just told me to "eat light" three days before. So I'm trying to stay as close to a liquid diet as I can. We had Pizza Hut last night actually and I did eat half a pizza roll from my husband's plate of leftovers today. I also got some watermelon so I could chew something. outside of that its been broth and an Isopure juice-type Protein Drink. I figured this is all pretty light.

Nope... I asked a million times and she didn't even say to eat lightly. Just no food or drink after midnight the night before surgery. It's FABULOUS. Lol I have to admit that I've been being a little greedy and eating like a cow. Haha I bought a tub of Breyers vanilla Oreo ice cream today and intend to kill it off before Tuesday night. :/
