iamworthit 208 Posted June 14, 2013 I had one in for a week and just got it pulled today. I was SO scared that it would be painful. Actually' date=' I didn't even feel it once the whole time it was in and didn't realize when the nurse had pulled it out that it was done. Lol all in all, not a bad experience. The worst part was trying to shower with it. I figured out that if I pinned it on the shower curtain, it was a piece of cake. Haha[/quote'] I am still in the hospital but I will have a drain for a month

It has also been great to see that everyone so far has had pretty good experiences. I am having surgery on 6/19 (revision from lap band). I am 30 years old, mother to two little ones and I'm super nervous, but feel peace about my decision. I'm looking forward to sharing my journey with you![/quote'] Welcome! Jeepchick42 193 Posted June 14, 2013 Does anyone else have zero energy? I'm 9 days post op and I'm finding even little tasks are difficult like taking a shower or doing a load of laundry. I feel like there's a hundred pounds pressing down on my shoulders. I managed to get all my Protein in yesterday but was short on my Water. Most days I get most if not all my Fluid in but I'm short on protein.

It's like my apartment exploded around me and I'll never get it back in order.
hek1127 166 Posted June 14, 2013 I really need prayers today! I went to my pre-op appointment at the hospital today and they are concerned that my fast pulse is because of my history of hyperthyroid. If the tests come back abnormal they will cancel my surgery!! Months of preparation and weeks of practically starving myself on this pre-op diet will be all for nothing! Please pray for great test results! HW 370 CW 332 (2 weeks pre-op) 1 futuremrsparker reacted to this
kristlynngirl 184 Posted June 14, 2013 I found I'm able to take larger sips which has me really excited because my mouth felt dry almost taking baby sips. Is this normal? It's maybe like a half of a mouthful and only two or three at a time. But it's easier than baby sipping for an hour to drink a bottle of Water.< /p>
sarjblack 29 Posted June 14, 2013 I'm waiting to be admitted. My surgeons last patient is still finishing up. My nerves were on high alert last night but I'm feeling more calm about my decision today. My really close friend text me this morning and said "I love you Sara, I'm SO proud of you". =D 1 Kristi reacted to this
