shyanne 198 Posted April 30, 2013 I have heard of it becoming a eating disorder after bypass so please be careful :-) your reaching out and see the issue and that's good :-) I know it's such a broken record but get back to basics: Protein and Water first. I had a whole other set of issues post op... I was scared of eating and my new tummy splitting open or dumping. That and I had zero desire to eat. I was actually disgusted at people eating and the amounts for a long time... I didn't go through food mourning cus I was so sickened by people eating. I saw a psychologist to talk about my issues. Maybe reach out to your bariatric doctor and they can suggest a good therapist who has delt with bariatric patients.

Most the people on this forum are eating fruits and veggies much sooner than myself. Intact I, don't see the nutritionist until 75% had been met.

crazedteacher 38 Posted April 30, 2013 I know that 2 weeks is hell but I promise it does get better. I struggled myself. Reach out on here. We have all been where you are and we have all struggled. Just set your mind to it. Maybe talk with your family about it and let them know how you feel and see if they can be a little more considerate to what you are going through. Good luck to you.
