I am a few months away from my surgery, and I would love to have someone that I can run to with all my worries. I am 26 and would just love to have a friend who understands how hard this really is

Where are you both in your process? I just finished my three week food diary. On may 1st I go to my next nutrition appointment and exercise evaluation. After that we can submit to insurance and get a date. Technically I could probably get a may date, but since I'm a teacher I will need to wait until school is out in June. I'm anxious to have the surgery over with and begin this process.

I have completed everything and received approval from my insurance. I am just waiting on May 20th to have my surgery and it cannot get here fast enough.

I have completed 5 months of my 6 months worth of medically monitored diet (my insurance is a beast), and my psych evaluation, and my nutritionist meetings. In two weeks I go for my endoscopy and the following week I do my final diet meeting. Then hopefully I will approved and get my date. I am shooting for the end of June beginning of July. I guess you guys can tell me all about it! I am so excited for you both!

I'm doing ok. I'm on day 3 of my preop diet and its been a struggle at certain times. What about you, have you received a date yet?

Hello ladies! I think you guys are a little ahead of me:) I have my endoscopy next week then I can submit to insurance. Fingers crossed it all goes well!!! So glad to hear you are both on you way as well. Pleas let me know when you get your surgery dates

Wow sounds like you should at least have a date by June! My surgery is the 20th of this month ( so 12 days)!!!

Yes it is very exciting! I'm doing ok at times I'm extremely hungry and I've been craving a pbj since yesterday however I have not gave in. I'm having it done at Wesley Long hospital in Greensboro.

I went to school at UNCG:) I know exactly where you are at. Look if you need anything at all please let me know. I am in and out of Greensboro all the time. I know you can do this....I also know thy you can tell me all about it later!!!
