What is the recovery room process like? How long are you there? Are you up quickly? Any requirements before they'll send you to a room?

I hate the recovery room!!

In the recovery room, I remember being in pain, and trying to get the nurse's attention, my mouth was too dry to talk. They finally gave me pain meds and I went back to sleep, I think like an hour later I woke up and they were talking about moving me to my room. I fell back asleep and woke up again and they started moving my IV and stuff to the bed and rolled me out, they hit like three corners on the way, and it hurt like hell.
