brandnewme 20 Posted April 20, 2013 Hello I had my surgery Feb 8th and can't remember when my Dr said I could resume cycling, will ring them on Monday to double check. Was wondering how far out people were before they resumed their exercises? Have you now changed your routine and find a different exercise to benefit you more? I'm now getting a bit bored with walking and can't wait to get back on my bike as I can go further distances and time seems to fly by. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

brandnewme 20 Posted April 21, 2013 Hello, we were told can use the stationary bike after 2 weeks so I was walking more as not joined a gym yet. As the weather is getting better I will venture out more on the bike when able to. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Obeasta 92 Posted May 19, 2013 My doctor said I am fine to start cycling at home on stationary bike at 2 weeks out. Haven't though ;-( almost at week 5 but I plan to start tomorrow, seriously! brandnewme 20 Posted May 22, 2013 Weather permitting I am out on my bike all the time! I've noticed that since my weight loss the cycling is much easier and I can cycle further. I don't go mad but make sure I go steady and am gone for a few hours. Instead of going in the car I get my bike and run errands. It's given me such a new lease of life and it's great!
